Terms of Service

Who we are

Chef's Kiss is run by Marvanova Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17280852). Our registered office is Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Marvanova Ltd, and "you" means the person using Chef's Kiss. You can reach us any time at apps@marvanova.com.

Using Chef's Kiss

• You can browse recipes without an account. Saving recipes, meal planning and other features need a free account.
• Please give accurate details when you sign up and keep your login safe. One account per person.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Free and paid plans

• Chef's Kiss has a free plan and two paid plans, Pro Chef and Master Chef, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown on the Upgrade page and at checkout before you pay.
• New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
• After the trial, your plan renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
• Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Cancelling

• You can cancel at any time from your Profile, using Manage subscription. This opens Stripe's secure billing page, where you can also update your card and download invoices.
• When you cancel, your paid features carry on until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Your saved recipes stay with you.
• If you think you have been charged by mistake, email apps@marvanova.com and we will look into it. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

AI features

• Some features use AI to write recipes, cooking guidance and suggestions. AI can make mistakes.
• Always check ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs, and follow safe cooking temperatures and food hygiene.
• Nothing in Chef's Kiss is medical, nutritional or allergy advice.

Your content

• Recipes you submit, and reviews you post, can be shown to other Chef's Kiss users. You give us permission to display them in the app.
• Reviews show the display name on your account.
• Your private notes, collections and meal plans stay yours and are not shown to anyone else.

Things you must not do

• Post spam, abuse, harassment or anything illegal.
• Try to break, overload or get around the security of the app.
• Copy the recipe library or the app for your own service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Chef's Kiss running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top when we do, and let you know in the app about any important change.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
